Château Tour de Grenet

France

Château Tour de Grenet is a family-run Bordeaux estate of Vignobles Brunot, managed by Vincent and Béatrice Brunot. Located around 9 km northeast of Saint-Émilion on a sunny limestone hillside, it has 30–40-year-old vines in clay-limestone soils. The estate practices reasoned agriculture, controls yields through pruning and green harvesting, has stopped using herbicides since 2018, and holds organic and biodynamic certifications. Its Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon are fermented in concrete vats, then aged for 12 months in equal parts concrete and oak. The resulting wine is rich and structured, with blackcurrant, blueberry, spice, pepper, and vanilla notes.
