Mainova is a family-owned winery in Alentejo, founded by the youngest daughter of the Herdade da Fonte Santa family and her husband. Its vineyards are cultivated organically, with a focus on biodiversity, low impact and careful manual night harvesting. The wines reflect a minimal-intervention approach, including spontaneous fermentation, low sulfite use and gravity-fed bottling. Recycled-glass bottles, recycled-paper packaging, wax seals and DIAM corks reinforce the estate’s sustainability-minded philosophy. Rooted in family heritage while looking toward the future, Mainova presents an authentic, innovative style grounded in organic farming and restrained cellar work.
