France

Lionel Gosseaume is a family-run, owner-operated domaine in Choussy, in the Sologne viticole area of eastern Touraine. Founded in 2007, it continues a local winegrowing tradition while producing AOC Touraine and Touraine-Oisly wines from varied sandy-clay, flinty and Bournais Perrucheux soils. Sauvignon Blanc is central, complemented by Gamay, Chenin, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Pineau d’Aunis and rare local varieties such as Menu-Pineau. The wines range from fresh, easy-drinking cuvées to more age-worthy expressions focused on terroir. Certified HVE, the estate combines tradition with flexible, biodiversity-minded practices, including hedgerow planting, rainwater reuse and an electric viti-bot to reduce chemical inputs. Lionel Gosseaume also serves as President of InterLoire, advocating for Loire wines and sustainable viticulture.
