Producer

La Bastide Saint Dominique

France

Bastide Saint Dominique is a family-owned estate in France’s Southern Rhône, founded in 1976 by Marie-Claude and Gérard Bonnet and now run by their son, Eric Bonnet, who oversees production and winemaking. Certified organic since 2011, the vineyards are farmed with hand harvesting and low-yield practices. Based between Avignon and Orange, the estate benefits from a warm, dry Mediterranean climate shaped by sun and mistral winds. It produces wines across Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Cairanne, Rasteau, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with fruit from sandy soils in Châteauneuf and clay and gravel sites in Cairanne and Rasteau. The style is warm and structured yet fine, elegant, and balanced.
