Jasci

Italy

Jasci is a three-generation family estate based around Vasto in Abruzzo, founded by Pasquale and Maria in the 1960s and now led by Donatello Jasci and his wife Piera, with Nicola Jasci involved in winemaking. The winery was a pioneer of organic viticulture in Abruzzo, farming organically since 1980 and counted among Italy’s first certified organic wineries; it also holds vegan certification. Vineyards in the Vasto area benefit from Adriatic influence and mountain breezes, helping give the wines freshness and a saline edge. Jasci’s approach combines respect for tradition with sustainability and careful innovation, including bio-architecture, solar energy, concrete vats, PIWI varieties, and some wines made without added sulfites. The range focuses on Abruzzese grapes such as Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and Cerasuolo.
