Producer

Folicello

Italy

Folicello is a family-run estate in Emilia-Romagna, owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Marco and Antonella, who also make the wines. The winery focuses on artisanal sparkling and still wines from native varieties, alongside small-scale production of jams, organic products, and vinegar. Farming is fully organic and described as exceeding EU standards, with solar-generated electricity, careful water and energy use, recycled marc turned into vine essences, and biodiversity supported by free-range chickens and other farm animals. The winemaking approach is natural, with no sulfur dioxide added at any stage.
