Bodegas Fillaboa is a family-owned estate in Salvaterra de Miño, Rías Baixas, focused exclusively on estate-grown Albariño from its historic Galician property near the Miño and Tea rivers. Owned by the Masaveu family since 2000, with the estate acquired in 1988, it is part of a small family wine portfolio. Winemaker Isabel Salgado has led production for nearly 25 years. The vineyards are rooted in granite-rich, well-drained soils and trained largely on pergolas to improve airflow. Fillaboa emphasizes estate control and a careful, terroir-driven approach, using practices such as low-temperature fermentation, lees aging, bentonite clarification, hard pruning, and occasional green harvesting. Its range includes wines from multiple estate parcels as well as the single-vineyard Monte Alto bottling.
