Fattoria La Rivolta

Italy

Fattoria La Rivolta is a third-generation family estate in the Taburno area of Benevento, Campania, run by the Cotroneo family on land first acquired by Giovanni and Teresa in the early 20th century. Re-established in 1997 by Paolo and Mario Cotroneo, the farm today also involves Paolo’s two sisters and a cousin. Its vineyards are planted on limestone and calcareous-clay soils with volcanic clay subsoils. The estate follows certified organic farming, with ICEA certification since 2001, hand harvesting, low yields and no chemical treatments; it is also noted as natural and vegan in the source material. The focus is on careful, family-led viticulture rooted in the Taburno territory.
