Fabien Duveau Vigneron

France

Fabien Duveau Vigneron is an eighth-generation, family-owned domaine in Bellevigne-les-Châteaux, Saumur. Fabien Duveau is the sole winemaker and proprietor, working with Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc across varied sandy, limestone, chalk and clay-gravel terroirs. The vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic by Ecocert and Demeter, with regenerative practices including cover crops, biodiversity buffers, beehives, shrub planting, sheep grazing and compost-only inputs. Wines are made with indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfur, using concrete vats and aging in barrels, jars and historic underground limestone caves. The domaine produces Saumur Blanc and Saumur-Champigny, emphasizing close observation of the land and the expression of living terroirs.
