Domaine Duroché is a fifth-generation family estate in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy, run by Pierre Duroché and his wife Marianne. The domaine farms village, premier cru and grand cru parcels with an ultra-reasoned, low-input approach, avoiding herbicides and insecticides and relying only on copper and sulfur treatments, hand harvesting, hand sorting and massal selection. Old vines and a focus on biodiversity support a restrained cellar style: moderate extractions, little new oak, no sulfur during vinification, élevage on fine lees without racking, and bottling with no fining and only rare light filtration. The wines are made in an elegant, minimal-intervention style, and since 2017 the family has also run a small, confidential négociant project.
