DS Biodinamica is a family-owned winery founded in 2012 by Danilo Scenna in Pescosolido, Lazio, on the slopes of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park. The estate combines winegrowing with horse breeding, reflecting a closed-loop farm system in which horse manure is recycled to support soil health. Certified organic and biodynamic by Demeter, the winery follows biodynamic principles with natural preparations, lunar-calendar timing for vineyard work and bottling, reduced chemical inputs, and a focus on biodiversity. The result is a small, natural, estate-based project rooted in holistic farming.
