Domaine Virely-Rougeot

France

Domaine Virely-Rougeot is a small, family-owned estate in Pommard, Burgundy, with vineyards across Pommard, Beaune and Meursault. The Virely family has cultivated vines in the area for nearly a century, beginning with Louis Virely and continuing today under Patrick Virely and his wife. The domaine farms sustainably, with attention to soil and plant health, and produces its wines in a traditional Burgundian style. Its holdings include notable Pommard Premier Cru parcels, as well as Meursault Village and Les Charmes. Patrick oversees the winemaking, including élevage in oak barrels, while the family remains closely involved in welcoming customers and maintaining the domaine’s traditions.
