Domaine Vaudoisey-Creusefond

France

Domaine Vaudoisey-Creusefond is a family-owned estate in Pommard, Burgundy, with a winemaking history dating to 1804. Alexandre Vaudoisey took over in 2011 and now runs the domaine with his wife, Laure. The estate farms vineyards in Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Volnay, and Pommard, growing Aligoté, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Work in the vineyards includes manual harvesting, soil cover, under-vine ploughing, compost tailored to vine vigor, and planting to encourage biodiversity. Some parcels are in conversion to organic agriculture; the Bourgogne-Aligoté vineyard uses no insecticides or herbicides. Wines are made naturally with indigenous yeasts and without inputs, while bottle reuse and hydro-soluble labels help reduce environmental impact.
