Domaine Tour Saint-Michel

France

Domaine Tour Saint Michel is a family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, founded by Michel Fabre in 1930 and now run by Mireille Fabre, with her daughter Magali joining in 2018. The domaine farms vineyards in the southern, rolled-pebble terroir of the appellation, including several named lieux-dits, and also produces wines from Cairanne and Ventoux through its La Petite Tour négociant-vinificateur project. The vines are worked without chemical herbicides, using ploughing, with organic certification from the 2023 vintage. In the cellar, temperature-controlled stainless-steel and concrete tanks are used, with limited wood ageing. The wines are intended to express their grape varieties, terroir, and vintage, with seven permitted Rhône varieties planted across red and white wines.
