Domaine Sylvain Gaudron is a fourth-generation family estate in Vernou-sur-Brenne, Loire Valley, now run by Gilles Gaudron as producer and winemaker. The domaine works exclusively with grapes from its own vineyard, planted mainly to Chenin Blanc vines averaging at least 30 years old. Grass-covered vineyards and integrated pest management help limit phytosanitary treatments. Wines are made in a 13th-century tuffeau cellar and include dry, off-dry, and sweet still wines, as well as brut and off-dry traditional-method sparkling wines.
