Domaine Pierre Amiot et Fils

France

Domaine Pierre Amiot et Fils is a family-owned estate in Morey-Saint-Denis, rooted in ten generations of winegrowing and today run by Jean-Louis Amiot with his brother Didier, while Léon Amiot prepares to continue the lineage. The domaine works east- and south-east-facing limestone and clay-limestone vineyards under a reasoned, sustainable approach, with HVE certification, ploughing, Guyot-Poussard pruning, massal selection, and experiments in biodynamics and agroforestry. Winemaking follows traditional Burgundian methods with hand harvesting, indigenous yeasts, restrained sulphur use, and élevage in oak, while adapting each vintage to preserve terroir typicity. The wines are described as authentic, faithful to their origin, balancing strength and finesse with elegance and generosity.
