Domaine Pernot Père & Fils

France

Domaine Pernot Père & Fils is a family-owned Burgundy estate founded around 1900 and still held by the Pernot and Barolet families. Fourth-generation winemakers Pascal Pernot and Romain Barolet-Pernot run the domaine, cultivating vineyards around Brochon and in Saint-Romain and other villages. The limestone-rich vineyards are farmed sustainably, with B.O.N.S organic certification and a gradual move toward biodynamic practices. Winemaking includes indigenous-yeast fermentations and a philosophy close to organic principles. Production is very limited, illustrated by the 750-bottle release of Saint-Romain Rouge.
