Domaine Mondange

France

Founded in 2017 near Ghisonaccia on Corsica’s eastern coast, Domaine Mondange is a family domaine led by Laura and Andria Mondange, who began vinifying selected family parcels themselves after generations of grapes were delivered to a cooperative cellar. Its vineyards lie on a sunny plateau at the foot of the mountains, around 10 km from the sea, with clay soils and areas of rolled pebbles. The domaine is HVE-certified and converting to organic agriculture. A semi-buried winery, completed in 2019, uses gravity-fed reception and a varied range of vessels, including wood, concrete, stainless steel, stoneware and barrels. The wines are described as fruit-driven or floral, reflecting the diversity of Corsica’s terroirs.
