Domaine Maire & Fils is a historic Jura estate based in Arbois, with roots dating to 1632 and a foundation attributed to Henri Maire. Now owned by Boisset La Famille des Grands Vins and overseen by winemaker Jacques Hauller, it focuses on the region’s principal appellations, including Arbois, Château-Chalon and L’Étoile. The estate works with Jura’s grape varieties across varied marl, clay and limestone soils, alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Vineyard practices emphasize respect for nature and soil, including grassing with clover, soil reassembly and cultivating alternate rows on steep slopes to manage erosion, vigor and yields. Its portfolio includes Vin Jaune, Côtes du Jura and other still and sparkling wines, reflecting the diversity of the Jura.
