Domaine Jolivet

France

Domaine Jolivet is a family-owned estate in Saint-Joseph in the Northern Rhône, run by Pascal Jolivet and his son Bastien, who leads the winemaking. Rooted in steep, east-facing terraced vineyards on granite-rich soils, the domaine farms part of its vines under certified organic standards and the rest sustainably, with the aim of full organic certification. The wines are made in a low-intervention style, including whole-cluster fermentation, limited destemming, spontaneous fermentations, and restrained use of new oak. The estate is focused on its Saint-Joseph bottlings, including L’Instinct and the smaller Cuvée 1907.
