Domaine Jean Monnier & Fils

France

Domaine Jean Monnier & Fils is a family-run Burgundy estate founded in 1720 and based in Meursault, in the Côte de Beaune. Still owned and operated by the Monnier family, Jean-Claude Monnier and his son Nicholas (Nicolas) Monnier oversee both the vineyards and winemaking. The domaine follows sustainable, “en lutte raisonnée” practices, including organic-style vineyard work, no chemical weeding, manual harvesting, early leaf-thinning and ploughing. Its wines come from several appellations, including La Barre, produced in modest quantities.
