Domaine du Chancelier

France

Domaine du Chancelier is a young, family-run estate in the historic centre of Beaune, Burgundy, owned and operated by Elsa and Cédric Ehrhart. Working around 5 hectares of owned vineyards alongside long-term contracted parcels, the domaine released its first estate vintage in 2020. Viticulture is certified organic and Ecocert Sustainable, with a strong commitment to biodiversity and preserving old vines through massal selection. In its renovated historic cellars, the couple pursue precise, terroir-focused wines from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Aligoté and Nebbiolo. Hand-harvesting, indigenous yeasts, no added sulfur, gentle extraction, gravity-fed cellar work and extended lees aging in French oak reflect a minimal-intervention approach. The wines are intended to express fruit and site with transparency and humility, including the domaine’s distinctive Artist Series.
