Domaine Didier Amiot

France

Domaine Didier Amiot is a family-run estate in Morey-Saint-Denis, in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, led by Didier Amiot and his wife Hélène. Created in 2019 following the division of the historic estate, it covers 3.3 hectares, mainly planted to Pinot Noir in Morey-Saint-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin, with some Chardonnay and Aligoté. The domaine has practiced organic viticulture from the outset and received certification in 2023, using horse and tractor plowing, Poussard pruning, and careful soil management. Harvesting is carried out by hand with family and friends, followed by meticulous sorting and traditional, gentle vinification. Red wines undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration and gradual extraction, while whites receive delicate pneumatic pressing. Oak aging in historic cellars supports wines marked by freshness, balance, silky texture, and a clear expression of each parcel.
