Domaine des Terres Blanches

France

Domaine des Terres Blanches is an organic estate in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, at the foot of the Alpilles in Les Baux de Provence AOP. Founded in 1968 by Noël Michelin on part of the Mas des Pilons, the domaine was rebuilt from former hybrid plantings, with a modern cellar completed in 1973. It has farmed agrobiologically since 1970 and holds AB organic certification, with a strong focus on soil life and biodiversity through grass cover, composts and winter sheep grazing. Its vineyards lie on stony, limestone-rich soils along the ancient Via Aurelia and are planted to 12 red and white varieties. The wines are described as fresh, elegant and terroir-driven, combining minerality, aromatic richness and depth. The estate has been owned by Christian Latouche since 2012.
