Domaine des Berthiers

France

Domaine des Berthiers is a family-run estate in Saint-Andelain, Pouilly-Fumé, owned and operated by fifth-generation brothers Clément and Florian Berthier and part of the Fournier family portfolio. Its Sauvignon Blanc is produced from hand-harvested fruit under minimal-intervention, certified Sustainable and Vegan farming, with HVE and Vignerons engagés certifications. Winemaker Damien Laurent uses gentle extraction, cold storage and low-temperature stainless-steel fermentation, followed by six to eight months on fine lees with regular bâtonnage. The wines reflect a careful, low-intervention approach rooted in the Loire Valley.
