Domaine des Aspras

France

Domaine Aspras is a family-run estate in Correns, Provence, acquired by the Latz family in 1961 and now shaped by several generations, including Michaël Latz and his sons Raphaël, Sébastien, and Alexandre. Located in France’s first organic village, the domaine has farmed organically since the 1990s and is certified Bio and HVE. Vineyard work emphasizes biodiversity, biodynamic composts, grassing, hedges, trees, and avoiding synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers, alongside efforts to reduce water use, waste, and carbon emissions. Its varied Argens Valley parcels—limestone, white tufa, alluvial sands, and red soils—bring freshness, tension, minerality, and generous fruit to the wines. Natural yeasts, minimal intervention, French oak, and clay amphorae support a philosophy of balance, emotion, and wines that express both terroir and respect for nature.
