La Pousse d’Or is a historic, family-owned Burgundy estate with a profound dedication to artisanal winemaking. Its origins trace back to the 1100s, and it has been meticulously stewarded through generations, most recently purchased by Patrick Landanger in 1997 and now run by his son Benoît. The domaine farms approximately 17 hectares of prestigious vineyards across the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, including several Grand Cru and Premier Cru plots. Committed to sustainable viticulture from the start, it has practiced organic farming since inception, adopted biodynamic methods in 2012, and achieved Demeter certification in 2018. Production remains focused, with an annual output of 50,000–75,000 bottles. Winemaking, led by Benoît Landanger, emphasizes gentle, natural techniques such as indigenous yeasts, extended lees aging, and minimal intervention, aiming to express the pure character of its exceptional terroirs.
