Producer

Domaine Charvin

France

Domaine Charvin is a long-established family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhône Valley, founded in 1851 and still owned and run by the Charvin family. Laurent Charvin oversees both farming and winemaking, with a clear low-intervention, terroir-focused approach. The estate is described as organically farmed, with one note stating it is certified organic. In the cellar, Charvin favors whole-bunch fermentation, no destemming, no oak, and élevage in concrete tanks to preserve fruit purity, with wines bottled unfiltered. Old vines and a hands-on family approach define a producer focused on traditional, site-driven Rhône wines.
