Domaine Berthet-Bondet

France

Domaine Berthet-Bondet is a family-run estate in Château-Chalon in the Jura, founded by Jean and Chantal Berthet-Bondet after settling there in 1984. Since 2018, their daughter Hélène has led the domaine, continuing a hands-on family transition supported by her husband and children. Certified organic, the estate works with indigenous yeasts, limited mechanisation, grass cover and careful soil management, with a vegan, natural approach in the cellar. Based in a historic 16th-century vaulted cellar, the domaine produces a full range of Jura wines, including Château-Chalon and Côtes du Jura, rooted in traditional regional grape varieties and winemaking practices.
