Crystallum

South Africa

Crystallum is a family-owned boutique winery in South Africa’s Western Cape, with roots in Walker Bay. Founded in 2007 by brothers Peter-Allan and Andrew Finlayson, it is run by the third-generation Finlayson family and has close ties to their father, Peter Finlayson of Bouchard Finlayson. Winemaking is led by Peter-Allan Finlayson. After beginning with Sauvignon Blanc, Crystallum has focused on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, building a limited portfolio that now includes estate-grown fruit from the Shaw’s Mountain vineyard. The winery is also part of the broader Gabrielskloof portfolio founded by Bernard Heyns.
