Costa di Bussia – Tenuta Arnulfo is a family-owned estate in the Bussia cru of Monforte d’Alba, Piedmont, founded in 1874 by pharmacist-winemaker Luigi Arnulfo, a pioneer of Barolo. Paolo Sartirano acquired the property in 1988 and restored its winery and vineyards. The estate’s 11 hectares surround the historic farmhouse, with steep, clay- and mineral-rich soils that require manual harvesting. All wines are made, bottled, and aged on-site from estate-grown grapes, with the team emphasizing tradition, terroir, and consistency. Nebbiolo is central to the vineyards and produces Barolo from distinct sites, including the high-altitude Bricco vineyard. The property also preserves its history through the Luigi Arnulfo museum and agriturismo.
