Producer

Copeland Wines

South Africa

Copeland Wines is a family-owned, small-batch producer in the Voor-Paardeberg area of Paarl, Western Cape, founded and led by winemaker Matthew Copeland. Working with sustainably farmed vineyards and selected sites in Paarl and Stellenbosch, the estate makes handcrafted, terroir-driven wines with a hands-on approach from vineyard to bottle. The style emphasizes purity, precision, fruit expression, balance and a clear sense of place. Its Reserve wines focus on structured, complex single-vineyard expressions, including Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, while the Lifestyle range offers expressive, approachable wines with consistency and character. Copeland’s wines include classic Bordeaux and Rhône varieties alongside Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Rosé.
