Cantine Colosi is a family-owned, multi-generational producer from Salina in Sicily’s volcanic Aeolian Islands. The Colosi family farms terraced vineyards overlooking the sea, restoring traditional dry-stone walls and carrying out vineyard work by hand without irrigation—an example of heroic viticulture. Malvasia is central to the estate, alongside other indigenous island varieties including Corinto Nero, Nerello Mascalese, Inzolia and Catarratto. The winery focuses on elegant, fragrant wines made exclusively from Sicilian grapes, including Malvasia wines and a vermouth based on Insolia. Its organic Ecolosi range is certified organic and vegan, with low-impact vineyard and cellar practices designed to protect local flora, fauna and the island ecosystem.
