Chinati Vergano is a family-run artisanal producer in Piedmont focused on chinati, vermouth, and other aromatized wines. Founded in the 1970s by chemist-enologist Mauro Vergano, the house released its first commercial vintage in 2003. It remains in family hands, now owned and operated by Mauro’s nephews, Tommaso and Pietro Vergano, with winemaking shared across the family. Rather than owning vineyards, Chinati Vergano sources base wines from specific producers and works in very small batches. No sustainability certifications or specific environmental practices are mentioned in the available information.
