Chenevières

France

Chenevières is a sixth-generation family estate in Burgundy, run by Vincent and Nicolas Lenoir, their wives, and the next generation. The family farms vineyards in Saint-Maurice-de-Satonnay, Péronne, and Azé, managing the vineyard work, harvesting, winemaking, and bottling themselves. Its approach emphasizes sustainable farming, careful soil management, and limited use of effluents, without a stated certification. Winemaking combines traditional methods with modern equipment, including pneumatic pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation. Individual parcels are vinified separately before blending, reflecting a careful, hands-on approach to expressing the estate’s vineyards.
