France

Château Roc de Cambes is a Bordeaux estate in Côtes de Bourg owned and run by François Mitjavile, who acquired it in 1987–88 and also owns Château Tertre Roteboeuf. The property is planted to old vines, predominantly Merlot with some Cabernet Sauvignon. Farming is described as sustainable, with low yields and hand harvesting, though no formal organic or biodynamic certification is mentioned. Mitjavile oversees both the vineyard work and winemaking, which includes concrete fermentation and aging in about half new oak. The estate’s modest production and hands-on approach give it a clear boutique, terroir-focused identity.
