Château Rauzan-Gassies

France

Château Rauzan-Gassies is a classified Margaux estate in Bordeaux, family-owned by the Quié family since 1946 and now overseen by co-managers Anne-Françoise Quié and Jean-Philippe Quié. The property combines established pedigree with a hands-on, sustainable approach in the vineyard, including mechanical soil work, grassed inter-rows, pruning, and manual harvesting, and it holds the Signature of Natura 2000 Charter certification. In the cellar, the wines are aged for 18 months in French oak, with 55% new barrels, reflecting a polished but traditional house style. Recent updates include a new tasting room and a modernized cellar.
