Château Haut-Gardère

France

Château Haut-Gardère is a Bordeaux property now incorporated into the Château de Fieuzal estate. Its history began with the de Fieuzal family, followed by a sale to Abel Ricard in 1892 and later acquisition by Gérard Gribelin, who merged the vineyards into the Fieuzal domain. The vineyards lie on gravel-based terroir and are farmed conventionally rather than organically. Red plantings are led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot also present; the estate also includes white varieties. No sustainability certifications or specific winemaker names are documented.
