Château Croix du Trale

France

Château Croix du Trale is a small, family-owned estate in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, at the heart of Bordeaux’s Haut-Médoc. Independent winemakers Sandra and Stéphane established the estate’s modern family tradition and have passed it to their daughters, Laurie and Chloé, continuing three generations of involvement. The vineyard is certified AREA and HVE Level 3, reflecting a commitment to environmentally respectful farming. Its plantings are equally divided between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon across clay-limestone, clay-gravel, and river-clay soils. The estate produces red wines from the Haut-Médoc and Saint-Estèphe appellations, as well as rosé and white wines. Grapes are harvested at maturity, fermented in stainless-steel tanks, and selected wines are aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
