Château Barbebelle

France

Château Barbebelle is a fourth-generation Herbeau family estate in Rognes, between Aix-en-Provence and the Luberon. Its vineyards lie within a protected 300-hectare property, on argilo-calcareous slopes shaped by sunshine, altitude, fresh nights and the Mistral. The estate’s wines are exclusively Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence AOP, with red, white and rosé cuvées made and bottled entirely on site. Now fully certified organic, the domaine emphasizes respectful viticulture, biodiversity and minimal intervention. Madeleine Herbeau leads the commercial and strategic side, while the family and team oversee vineyard work, winemaking, bottling and marketing. Family cuvées such as Héritage reflect the transmission of know-how across generations.
