Domaine Castagnier is a fifth-generation family estate in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, led by Jérôme Castagnier since 2005. Its holdings span Village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites, including Clos de la Roche, Charmes-Chambertin, Clos Saint-Denis and Clos de Vougeot, on mainly clay-limestone soils. The vineyards are farmed organically with biodynamic practices. In the cellar, Jérôme Castagnier follows a minimal-intervention approach, using whole-bunch fermentation, gravity-driven vinification, reduced pigeage and increased délestage. Alongside the domaine wines, the estate also produces a small share of négoce bottlings, mainly white Puligny-Montrachet and Corton-Charlemagne.
