Cantrina

Italy

Cantrina is a small, family-run estate in Bedizzole, in Lombardy’s Valtènesi/Riviera del Garda Classico area, founded in 1999 and now led by Cristina Inganni and Diego Lavo. The estate has farmed organically since 2014, with certification achieved in 2017, combining manual vineyard work, indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfite use with lightweight bottles and recyclable packaging. Cristina and Diego oversee both winemaking and cellar work, pursuing a creative, character-driven approach free from preconceptions. The wines emphasize the Garda territory and indigenous varieties such as Groppello, including their elegant, fresh and sapid Valtènesi Chiaretto. Cantrina is also a member of FIVI and has participated in projects supporting artisanal winegrowing heritage.
