Producer

Cantina Surrau

Italy

Founded in 2000, Cantina Surrau is a family-owned estate in eastern Gallura, Sardinia, managed by the Demuro family with Martino Demuro as owner/operator. Its vineyards lie at 150–250 metres above sea level, and production focuses on the region’s characteristic Vermentino, which accounts for around 70% of output, alongside Cannonau. Winemaking is overseen by two winemakers, including one recognised among Italy’s top five. The estate’s wines reflect a clear focus on Sardinian varieties and the identity of Gallura.
