Cantarina is a small, third-generation family winery in Bierzo, Castilla y León, founded in 2015 by five Ysart Alvarez de Toledo siblings. The family is repurchasing historic old-vine parcels across Valtuille, Villafranca and Corullón and farming them in-house. Its vineyards are certified organic by CAECyL and managed regeneratively, without pesticides or herbicides. Winemaker Ysart Alvarez de Toledo follows a low-intervention approach, using indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentations to express the character of these historic sites.
