Camp Lazens

France

Camp Lazens is based at the summit of La Clape, between Narbonne and the Mediterranean, where vines grow among limestone rock and garrigue, shaped by strong winds, sea breezes and abundant sunshine. The estate emphasizes respect for nature and terroir, with thoughtful viticulture supporting biodiversity and grape quality. Its wines are intended to be sincere, accessible and expressive of their origin, combining tradition with modern experimentation. Founded in 1965 by the Egretier family, the domaine has been owned by the Close family since 2000; Susan and Peter Close pursued their long-held passion for French gastronomy and wine by taking on the vineyard. Today, the team is developing a range focused more closely on La Clape’s distinctive character, producing vibrant, elegant wines marked by freshness and minerality.
