Pizzini

Australia

Pizzini is a family-owned winery in Victoria’s King Valley, founded by Alfredo and Katrina Pizzini in 1978 and still owned by the Pizzini family. Family winemaker Joel Pizzini crafts Italian-style wines from 17 varieties, including Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Pinot Grigio and Arneis, combining Italian heritage with the character of the King Valley’s varied sites and microclimates. Its ranges span approachable, food-friendly wines through to single-vineyard and pinnacle bottlings focused on site expression. The family’s long involvement in the region and pioneering work with Italian varieties give the wines a distinctive Australian interpretation of Italian grapes. No sustainability certifications or specific environmental programs are noted.
