Mád Moser is a Tokaj project founded through a partnership between Mád Wine and Austrian winemaker Lenz Moser, with Karoly Kovács, Rita Takaro and winemaker Gabor Urbán involved. Based in Mád, the project focuses on a contemporary interpretation of dry Furmint, aiming to bring Tokaj’s distinctive wines to international markets. The wines emphasize freshness, complexity, structure, minerality and individual character, including barrel-aged expressions such as MM5 and MM55. The partnership combines local Tokaj expertise with Lenz Moser’s international perspective and long-standing passion for the region. Mád Moser also collaborates with GRAND TOKAJ for sweet wines, including Tokaji Aszú. The project began in 2021 and forms part of a broader effort to renew Tokaj’s global profile beyond its traditional sweet-wine reputation.
