Domaine Prunier-Bonheur

France

Prunier-Bonheur is a fifth-generation family domaine in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, founded in 1983 by Pascal Prunier and his wife Christine Bonheur and still run by the family today. Based across villages including Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Monthélie, Pommard and Beaune, the estate produces both white and red wines, with Pascal Prunier as principal winemaker. Viticulture is described as mostly organic, sustainable and “all-natural,” with reduced chemical use, an organic transition begun in the 1990s, lunar-calendar timing, and limited sulfur and copper, though without formal certification. The family later added a négociant activity and a new winery.
