DeLille Cellars is a Washington winery founded in 1992 by Chris Upchurch, Jay A. Soloff, Greg and Charles Lill, now owned by Steve Newhouse, with the founders still linked to the brand. Drawing on premier Columbia Valley sites, especially Red Mountain, it has built its reputation on an old-world approach to Washington fruit, with Bordeaux and Rhône-style blends, small-lot Burgundian expressions, Bandol-style rosé, and traditional-method sparkling wines. Estate fruit includes Discovery Vineyard, where all vineyard work is done by hand. Winemaking has passed from Upchurch to Chris Petersen and now Jason Gorski, with a focus on careful selection, blending, and limited releases that highlight standout vineyards, barrels, and custom cuvées.
