Founded in 1946 by local farmers, Bodegas La Purísima is a cooperative winery in Yecla, Murcia, owned by its member-growers and managed by María Teresa Ruiz González. It works with the arid, poor soils and continental climate of the Altiplano, focusing on Monastrell, including nearly 100 hectares of old, ungrafted vines. Certified organic farming, massal selection, and a commitment to quality, tradition, innovation, and sustainability shape its approach. Modern facilities support both bulk and premium bottled wines, including oak-aged cuvées. With a strong international outlook, the cooperative exports to more than 30 countries while also offering guided wine-tourism experiences.
